a. | 2025-1402 – County Attorney
Peter DiGiorgio, Esq., Attorney Mentoring Services
This is an agreement with Peter J. DiGiorgio, Jr., Esq., for services provided to the County’s Supplemental Assigned Counsel Program. Mr. DiGiorgio acts as the Mentor/Training–Family–Court-Appeals for the Attorney Mentoring Program; providing assistance to attorneys appointed to represent indigent clients. The agreement is for the term beginning January 1, 2025 and ending December 31, 2026. It provides for a total payment of $36,000.00 to Mr. DiGiorgio. It is anticipated that this expenditure will be reimbursed by a grant with the New York State Office of Indigent Legal Services. |

Hon. Scott D. McNamara - School Bus Violation Prosecutions
This is a proposed professional services agreement with Attorney Scott D. McNamara for the prosecution of violations of Oneida County Local Law No. 3 of 2020, which establishes a school bus photo violation monitoring system and imposes liability on the owner of a motor vehicle for the operator’s failure to stop for a school bus displaying a red visual signal and stop arm. Per the proposed agreement, Attorney McNamara will prosecute contested citations in various local courts located in Oneida County. The term of this agreement is for 12 months, which commences upon the parties’ full execution of the agreement. Per the agreement, Attorney McNamara will be compensated at an hourly rate of $158.00, and shall be reimbursed for his reasonably-related out-of-pocket expenses, if any, and mileage at the applicable IRS standard rate. Total compensation under this agreement shall not exceed $45,000.00 during the 12-month term. |

Mary Pat Walsh, Esq., Legal Services Agreement
Please find an Agreement for provision of Legal Services between the County and attorney Mary Pat Walsh for your review and consideration. This Agreement proposes to compensate Ms. Walsh at a rate of $158.00 per hour for a total not to exceed $50,000.00 during a one-year term which commences on May 1, 2025. Ms. Walsh will represent the County in guardianship matters and will provide other legal services as agreed upon from time-to-time. |

This Board is in receipt of a Purchase of Services Agreement between Oneida County, through its Department of Family and Community Services, and Communication Services, Inc. d/b/a Interpretek, for an amount not to exceed $50,000.00, for the provision of sign language interpreter services for deaf individuals who are in need of and/or receive services from the Oneida County Department of Family and Community Services, for activities including, but not limited to: casework appointments; counseling appointments; and eligibility services. |

Alzheimer's Association - Caregiver Support Initiative
This Board is in receipt of a Memorandum of Understanding between Oneida County, through its Department of Family and Community Services – Office for the Aging and Continuing Care, and Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Disorders Association, Inc. d/b/a Alzheimer’s Association, Central New York Chapter, in the sum of $50,000.00, for the provision of respite services for caregivers who offer care and support to individuals with Alzheimer's Disease and DementiaRelated Disorders. This revenue generating MOU will allow the Office for the Aging to provide respite services for caregivers of individuals with Alzheimer’s Disease and other Dementia-related disorders. The term of this MOU is from July 1, 2024 through June 30, 2027. |

This Board is in receipt of an Agreement between Oneida County, through its Department of Health, and Research & Marketing Strategies, Inc., in the sum of $14,145.00, to conduct and submit a Community Health Assessment (CHA) and Community Health Improvement Plan (CHIP) in partnership with Rome Memorial Hospital, Inc. and Mohawk Valley Health Systems. |

C&S Engineers, Inc. Professional Services Agreement, Griffiss Controls
This Board is in receipt of a Professional Services Agreement between Oneida County, through its Department of Aviation, and C & S Engineers, Inc., for a lump sum fee of $15,320.00, for the restoration and maintenance of the Griffiss International Airport’s HVAC controls, which will include updating all JACE (Java Application Control Engine) & Supervisor Software licensing, maintaining remote access to the control system including remote alarm notifications and the provision of two (2) hours per month of remote technical support to staff at Griffiss International Airport. This Agreement commences on April 2, 2025 and will continue until December 31, 2025. |
